Systec & Services GmbH is a company with history and vision. Their three executives Karl G. Linder, Hermann Schaefer and Fred Schiffmacher look back on a long history and career in this specific segment. They are successful entrepreneurs and create IT innovations to meet the special requirements of their Life Sciences industry clients.

CEO

looks back now on ­nearly 30 years of industry experience. After studying electrical engineering in Karlsruhe, he spent seven years in R&D for the Robert Bosch Group. As an entrepreneur, he founded Propack Data GmbH in 1984, which he built up to an international acting software solution company in the pharmaceutical industry.

In 2002, he sold Propack Data to Rockwell ­Automation, a multinational organization and even today one of Systec & Services’ strategic partners.

Today, Mr. Linder is engaged as an investor in multiple software and medical device companies from the Karlsruhe technology region, on whose advisory and supervisory boards he serves as a director. As a trustee, he supports the University of Applied Sciences of Karlsruhe (Hochschule Karlsruhe), particularly the computer sciences department. As founding ­donor, he also supports the Karl Linder Education Foundation (KLEF) through several charitable projects for the national and international education of young people.

also enriches Systec & Services with his education in electrical engineering and 25 years’ professional experience in industry and company management.

Before he joined Propack Data GmbH in Karlsruhe in 1984, he worked as systems engineer at the Robert Bosch Group and at Credé Elektronik GmbH. As systems engineer at Propack Data, he assumed responsibility for project management until he accepted the assignment of establishing a new branch office in Bad Saeckingen.

Before Alfred Schiffmacher helped to build up Systec & Services GmbH, he was internationally active as the manager responsible for Rockwell Automation’s service business.

Alfred Schiffmacher is responsible for Systec & Services’ business units Services, Compliance Management, GMP IT Concepts and further­more manages the finance department.

For the past 17 years, he has worked in various roles in Professional Services, Business Management, and Sales, both on a ­national and international basis. Before starting at Systec & Services, Hermann Schaefer was a Vice President and part of the Executive ­Management Board at POET AG and before then he led the European Sales team in the Life Sciences Vertical at Rockwell Automation’s ­Information Solutions group.

Hermann Schaefer has worked in the life sciences industry for more than 15 years. He was ­responsible for a number of global projects and rollouts as part of multi-international acting ­organizations. He knows the requirements and specifics of production management systems for the commercial manufacturing as well as in the areas of ­research & development and Clinical Studies and Supplies.

At Systec & Services ­Hermann Schaefer manages sales, marketing and research & development.
