2 April 2007 Karlsruhe, 2 April 2007 – For the second time, a member of the Haupt Pharma group has chosen Systec & Services GmbH as its project partner for MES, services and hardware in the implementation of a new weighing system. In October 2005, Systec & Services finished implementing a PMX MES-based weighing and dispensing system at Haupt Pharma Wolfratshausen GmbH. Due to the high level of customer satisfaction with the implementation at their sister company, Haupt Pharma Münster GmbH has now commissioned Systec & Services to roll out the PMX Dispense MES solution from Wolfratshausen to Münster. A paper-based weighing system is being replaced at Haupt Pharma Münster. Within the framework of the project, Systec & Services will provide all hardware, software and services as a single-source supplier. This includes GMP IT hardware – both PCs and Ex-protected hardware – as well as MES and operating system software and customization of PMX MES to interface with SAP. The new weighing and dispensing system possesses integrated communication with the SAP/R3 ERP system at Haupt Münster, so that critical data from the enterprise level, such as production orders, are automatically available to workers in the weighing center. The goal of the new weighing system is to simplify the weighing and dispensing process, increase efficiency and even further reduce the risk of errors. The full project is scheduled to be complete by May 2007.
