ISTQB Certified Tester is a globally recognized standard in the software sector. The difficult exam contains topics from the areas of testing management, testing procedure as well as testing tools. Verifying and testing software professionally is becoming increasingly more important and thus requires a sound education. There are currently more than 80,000 ISTQB Certified Testers, whereas 7,500 authorized exams have been carried out by the German Testing Board (as of March 2008).
