Karlsruhe, July 1st 2013 – The tradition-steeped pharmaceutical company Verla-Pharm will apply the Rockwell Automation MES solution PharmaSuite™ at their headquarters in Tutzing at Lake Starnberg.
PharmaSuite™ will be implemented by Systec & Services, one of Rockwell Automation’s strategic solution partners.
At the kick-off, which was taking place end of June, Gabriele von Ehrlich, the managing shareholder of Verla, emphasized that with the implementation of the software the tradition-steeped success story of the company can be continued at a high technical standard.
Besides the MES system, Verla will also introduce a new ERP system – infor’s M3. PharmaSuite™replaces an existing weighing solution at Verla and thereby enables the step in a modern, future-oriented system landscape in production. With the MES solution’s help the company will be able to document the whole manufacturing electronically and thus design more transparent processes. Furthermore the implementation will allow the electronic release of Verla’s production batches.
“We are happy that with the introduction of PharmaSuite™ we can further confirm the premium quality and secure manufacturing of our products.“, Günter Hopf, production manager and member of Verla-Pharm’s management points out. “With Systec & Services we found a competent partner, that not only convinces professional but also matches our social climate of cooperation.“
